getting spooked?
My daughter has been really spooking me out recently. She woke up one night last week & told me she saw a shadow of a 'man' & that she was freezing, since then she's been mentioning an invisible 'friend' & that she feels someone blowing on her hair!!!!
Could it be that she has someone 'watching' over her or just a 5 yrs old imagination running away with them??????????
Maybe Mulder & Skully could help me solve this one?!HAHA

'Cyberbullying'
What is Cyberbullying?
Cyberbullying is when a child up to a teenager is harrassed, threatened, embarrassed/humiliated or tormented by another child/ren
Why do you think people cyperbully?
It may be that the 'bully' is not very confident or very unhappy in their own life or that they may just want to 'impress' their friends
What should the target do?
The target should report it to their parents, who will takethe appropriate measures to deal with it
What should the school or college do?
The school/college should inform all pupils of the consequences that may occur from cyberbullying.
What should the Government do? The Government should place tougher new laws regarding ISP's placing tougher monitoring etc on their websites
New laws have just been passed to deal with cyberbullies. Do they go far enough?
I don't feel that they go far enough as they need to pass tougher laws for that the ISP's need to follow along with some other strategy's

My life outside college!!
Safety on the net
5 Problems that can be raised with youngsters visting social sites
They may give out personal information, including name of their school, home address etc. They may send a picture of themselves or recieve pictures of a sexual nature from othersThey may getting into fights/cyber bullyingThey may be groomed by a paedophile, who is more than likely pretending to be a child themselvesThey may download viruses unknowingly
why is club penguin such a safe site??
The site is set out to especially be more appealing to young children with use of the graphics etcIt gives parents alot of useful advice on how to try & help keep children safe onlineThe site uses a filter to prevent children seeing words/phrases that they deem unfit for their eyesThere is moderators online to help make sure they are safe while chattingThey aren't allowed to give out their name etc as they have to use an avatar & a specific usernameno unappropriate adverts due to it being a paid website
